Further tapping into the portfolio of sports sponsorships, we launched a new series of Instagram Live chats featuring pilots/social media influencers and sports personalities.

On the occasion of Star Wars day, chose to weave in an airline-related concept to celebrate the occasion inspite of the pandemic. Photoshop work by me to incorporate lightsabers into the marshall's guiding batons for the aircraft made for the perfect opportunity.

Ad-hoc special campaigns
Throughout my tenure, I've had the opportunity to produce and execute special marketing activities around key milestones.

To help revive the yearning of travel and tapping into the feeling of people who miss the Qsuite experience, I worked with helping to orchestrate this activity of Qsuite at home.

In preparation for the launch of flight to Abuja, we used a female Nigerian pilot who became quite a known celebrity back in Nigeria. I had the privilege of filming here for this video piece to promote the new route launch, which also turned out to be the nearest gateway to her home city.

A special giveaway promoted to frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering 100,000 complimentary return travel tickets to/from Qatar Airways gateway cities. My job was also to keep an eye out on people who confirmed receiving the gift, and resharing to show authenticity of the campaign.

As a follow-up to the ThankYouHeroes campaign, I helped source suitable human stories of those who received the return travel tickets for medical works that would become part of a new content piece to share their story during the pandemic.

My technical expertise had me as the go-to person when it involved livestreaming major activities on social media from the official Qatar Airways account.
Celebrity Surprise 

Back in early 2018, I managed to unearth details of Paris Hilton travelling on a Qatar Airways flight from Los Angeles to Doha. Monitoring the news, I helped organize a surprise for her to celebrate her engagement (including briefing the operating crew). She featured it on her 20M+ followers on Instagram, adding free publicity for promoting the airline.

Destigram
Our first Instagram contest coincided with the large destination launches in 2014. Technical aspects including launching, promoting, and screening eligible entries done by me. Prizes included tickets to the new destinations from nearest gateway and frequent flyer miles.
